November 18, 2007…Fontana, WI Over 200 people enjoyed a day of lakeside luxury at the first [true]woman LIVE! event held at the beautiful Abbey Resort on Geneva Lake.

The premier issue of the magazine celebrating ‘real – authentic – genuine - women who are realizing their dreams’ hit newsstands mid-October, and has been receiving rave reviews from those inspired by the stories inside.  Quarterly issues will be published in 2008, with LIVE! events being held shortly after each release date.

Ron, Tina, and MelThe premier event included live musical performances by Sam Baker, a local musician who was honored as the first [true]man to be featured in the magazine; and the dynamic duo of Tina Michels Nelson and Melanie Anne Klais, who will be featured in an upcoming issue.  “These musicians naturally inspire people when they share their stories and gifts through their songs.  Sam’s own songs share feelings of joy and pain of an amazing depth for his youth (22), and Tina & Mel really energize a room with the range of their talents,” said Denise Schultz, founder and publisher.

Exhibitors in the boutique area of the event included the magazine’s advertisers such as Aspen Glo Farms/Huizinga Training (www.aspenglofarms.com), Golden Oaks Mansion (www.goldenoaksmansion.com), Image 101 (www.image101online.com ), Ionic Body Cleanse (www.detoxfootbath.com), Pegge Suhm’s “Moving the Mojo” (www.movingthemojo.com), and Escential Bath & Body (www.bathbodyandgifts.com).  Other exhibitors included everything from handcrafted jewelry, designer style purses and fitness apparel to insurance and financial advisors, wellness specialists, gourmet food and wine tasting.  Complimentary chair massages were enjoyed throughout the day, courtesy of John Nagel, CMT representing The White House Green Spa & Boutique.

Door prizes were generously donated by several exhibitors, plus The Cornerstone Shoppe (www.cornerstoneshoppe.com), details in the bay…(www.detailsinthebay.com), The Bailey House Bed & Breakfast (www.thebaileyhouse.com) and others, raising over $100 for the Lakeland Animal Shelter.

“We were absolutely thrilled with the turnout,” says Schultz.  “It is heartwarming to see so many people take time to enjoy spending an afternoon with our team, our story subjects, our advertisers, and others who seek to inspire or be inspired.  We are grateful for our wonderful relationship with the glorious Abbey Resort, and hope to publish a schedule of upcoming events here in the very near future!”
